Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payment online through Paypal - you no longer have sign up with Paypal and they accept all major credit cards securely. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back-ordered items also are not charged until ready to ship. In some cases a deposit may be requested. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently over-priced or under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling UK Shipping - "First Class Post" is available for all orders up to £40 (including VAT) and delivery is charged at £1.50 for the complete order. "Next Day Signed For" shipping to UK addresses is charged at £3.95 for the complete order and always applys for orders over £40. Orders over £100 are delivered FREE.

Europe EEC - "International Signed For" shipping will be charged at £10.95 for the complete order.

Rest of the World - "International Signed For" shipping will be charged at £10.95 for the complete.

NOTE ALL SHIPPING CHARGES - If the item ordered is excessively heavy, you will be contacted by email to advise you of the postage/shipping cost before proceeding. Your credit card will not be debited until you agree to the charge.

Shipping prices quoted at the point of order are a minimum charge and may vary due to the final weight of the shipment. Individual items that are heavier than normal may attract a higher postage charge than that quoted when ordering. In these cases, the customer will be notified of the extra delivery charge by e-mail or telephone prior to their order being processed. Where shipping is free, should the item(s) purchased constitute a large and/or heavy consignment, we reserve the right to modify the above rates. In such unusual cases we would notify you in advance and such quoted special shipping charges would be at cost only.

UK DELIVERIES - please note that if your item fails to arrive for any reason then you will only be refunded the standard amount offered by the Post Office for items lost in the post, which may only be a proportion of the total cost of the item. It is therefore advised that you opt for the "Next Day Signed For" service.

PACKAGING - where possible, we recycle most of our used boxes and these may be used to post out new items that have been ordered. Whilst they may not always correspond with the items ordered, the requested products will be contained inside.

Delivery Schedule We recommend that for goods ordered over the value of £50. the Next Day Signed For option should be chosen to ensure against loss or damage in transit with Royal Mail.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait

Tax Charges TAX EXEMPTION - For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

LOCAL TAXES - Lomond Jewellery is not responsible for any local taxes or customs duties.

Credit Card Security All credit card transactions are handled securely through Paypal - please visit www.paypal.co.uk for full details on their credit card security.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. In the event that the delivered goods do not come up to your expectation they can be returned to us for a full refund or replacement. We should be notified within 2 working days if you are not satisfied with the item/items. Advise us if you are dissatisfied, and we will confirm the returns procedure. Do not return goods before receiving our confirming instruction.

At Lomond Jewellery we pride ourselves on quality of service, only selling first quality goods to meet the high standards we feel our customers deserve.

You may return any item in its original condition, in the original packaging, within 7 days of receipt, as after this period our money-back guarantee will not apply. When we have received the returned goods, a full refund of the purchase price will be processed unless you prefer a replacement item or a gift certificate - the choice is yours. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable and the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment. Please note that refunds for all credit transactions will be passed directly to Mastercard/Visa without further notification to yourself.

The item/items being returned will only be accepted in its original condition (and box , where applicable),
The goods should be carefully packed and sent by using a mail service which provides shipment tracking and insurance as we cannot take any responsibility for returned goods lost in transit.
